Tin-plated copper ground braids

The SCE shunt or tin-plated copper grounding braid is a braided electrical connection made of tin-plated copper.
Tin-plated copper, or tin-plated copper braid, is an excellent material for corrosion protection. In particular, it is used for electrical continuity, grounding connections, and connections between materials used in an electromagnetically disturbed environment.

Tin-plated flat copper braids are highly resistant to vibration, are highly flexible, can be adapted in many ways and are recommended by C.E.M. directives.

Stainless steel mass braids

Our stainless steel shunts, or stainless steel grounding braids, are highly conductive braided electrical connections made of stainless steel, making them much more resistant than copper to corrosion and very high temperatures.
Stainless steel grounding braids guarantee electrical continuity in environments subject to strong oxidation, and in limited spaces with weight-saving requirements.
Their great flexibility and light weight mean they can be adapted to many limited spaces. Stainless steel grounding braids are used for electrical transmission and equipotential bonding in a number of sectors, including petrochemicals, food processing, piping and transportation.

Aluminium mass braiding: Reduce your consumption

To reduce your energy consumption in the automotive, aviation and transportation industries, and help your electromagnetically disturbed environments, use our aluminum grounding braids or aluminum shunts. Our aluminum ground straps or shunts are highly conductive, corrosion-resistant braided electrical connections. They guarantee electrical continuity in environments where weight savings and reduced power consumption are required.

The braid of red copper masses

Our red copper grounding and bonding braids are resistant to twisting and alternating bending, and are highly conductive, making them ideal for high temperatures, harsh environments and technical solutions for shielding, grounding and bonding.

Red copper is much stronger than tin-plated copper when it comes to evacuating lightning strikes or excess electricity. Their great flexibility will enable customized braided electrical connections occupying little space.
